This wedding took place in Tobago. The bride wanted a dress to compliment her
unusual necklace, which was made of roundels of Mother of Pearl held together with tiny gold chains.
The design was for a short flirty
frock of floaty fabric. We chose
colours to echo the mother of
pearl. The under dress of pale
gold was shot with cream and
shimmered like the necklace.
Over the top was ruched chiffon
in the palest cream with a
fluted hem. The bodice top has
a built in corset underneath and
the top edge was finished with
gold 'silk tissue' piping. The
final touch was two tone pale
gold and old gold organza
ribbons tied around the midrift. |
