The wedding took place at the
Maritime Museum in Greenwich,
South East London, on 1st
December. The request was for a
long Dress Coat that would be
worn all day. The surroundings at
the museum are very grand so we
decided on a dramatic outfit.
The Dress Coat was made of shot
black and green silk dupion, with a
lining of lime green silk. The bride
wore a black crepe de chine dress
underneath with a lime green
ruffled trim at the hem. Black
braid frogging was made to fasten
the coat and a self-colour ruffled
trim finished off the sleeves and
bodice. A neat stand-up gently
curved collar completes the outfit.
